You Can Volunteer!

Volunteers are the backbone of Crossroads Ministries service delivery.Volunteers are the backbone of Crossroads’ service delivery. Every Monday through Friday we need volunteers in the kitchen to help with set-up and serving from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We also need help in Crossroads’ mailroom (from 9:15-12:30 to distribute mail to the hundreds of folks for whom Crossroads is their legal address) and in our help office (flexible hours).

You are welcome to volunteer on any schedule — one day a month, two days a week, every day — whatever works for you. (We have secure off-street parking. The nearest MARTA station is the Civic Center Station — Crossroads is 2 blocks east of the station. Call 404-873-7652 or e-mail stan@crossroadsatlanta.org

We rely heavily on community contributions to carry out our ministry. We are always grateful for bulk quantities of donated food — especially frozen hams, turkeys, chickens, and frozen or large (#10) cans of vegetables. To donate food, please call Clyde Corbin at (404) 873-7655.

And we are especially grateful for financial support. Crossroads Community Ministries is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. Your contributions are fully tax-deductible. Please provide your name and address so that we can acknowledge your gift, or use the convenient fully secure on-line donation. If your employer matches gifts, please let us know that too.

Please send your contributions to:

Donate-Now-Crossroads-Community-MinistriesCrossroads Community Ministries depends upon public donations to continue its work. You can help! Making a donation through our secure server is fast and easy, and when we receive your donation, we will send you an acknowledgment in the mail for tax purposes. Click the button above to make a donation. Thank you for your support!

We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. JUST GIVE is the name that will appear on your credit card statement . Using a 3rd party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs! JUST GIVE charges a 3% transaction fee (the lowest around!). So if you give $100, Crossroads will receive $97. If you’d like Crossroads to receive the full $100, donate $103.

What your gift can do:

$25 buys a hot meal for 10 people for New Horizon Landscaping jobs program.

$50 pays for a stock of diapers, infant formula and toddler food or gets 50 people MARTA transportation or secures a birth certificate for 3 people

$100 buys shoes and socks or a winter jacket for 4 people

$250 helps a family or individual get into an apartment

And You Can Take a Few Small Steps!

The next time you pass a homeless person on the street, smile and say Hello. You’d be surprised how rare and how welcome that is

Have some .5L bottles of water handy, and give one to a homeless person. Getting drinking water is one of the most challenging parts of a homeless person’s day.

Make and carry cards that have information about how to get help. Add 50¢ for a phone call.

Here’s a simple one:
